Muslim Council of Montreal calls on organizations to join in signing of open letter to Mr. Harper demanding for an end to attacks on GazaJanuary 15, 2009
Montreal, Quebec, Jan. 15th, 2009- The Muslim Council of Montreal (MCM) calls on Canadian-based organizations to join in co-signing an open letter to Canadian Prime Minister Mr. Stephen Harper.
The letter demands that Mr. Harper take swift action in calling for an immediate ceasefire of Israeli attacks in Gaza, in addition to an end of the blockade on Gaza. Please see attached file for a full copy of the letter (Gaza-HarperLetter.pdf).
All organizations wishing to co-sign the letter are asked to contact MCM by Thursday January 15th, before 4:00 p.m. to have their names published with the letter. Please forward your organisation's name in both official languages.
